    About Rachel Benight

Rachel Benight, RD, in her kitchen.

Rachel Benight MS, RD, CPT is our nutritional advisor. She reviews all the recipes on this website.

Rachel is a Registered Dietitian, licensed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She received her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Rachel has worked as an RD for the past six years. As an RD and a CPT, Rachel assesses the dietary needs of her clients, develops individualized meal and exercise plans for them, monitors the effects of these plans, and keeps herself updated with the latest research in nutritional science.

Prior to starting her own nutrition business, Rachel worked as a Registered Dietitian at Nutrition Specialists of Northeastern Oklahoma and at Nutrition Resources PLC in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Rachel now owns her own nutrition business, Nourished by Rachel, where her goal is to help her clients develop a good relationship with food, fitness, and their own bodies.

Rachel says: "I believe that there is never a “one size fits all” approach. I will design a program specifically with your goals in mind - no starvation diets required! As a Registered Dietitian and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, I combine cutting-edge nutrition with exercise to provide you with the tools you need to achieve and maintain your goals."

In January 2019, Rachel was featured on the cover of Preview Magazine, in an article that offered tips for adopting - and (just as important) keeping - your New Year's resolutions.

Rachel lives with her husband and two dogs in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In her free time, she likes to participate in CrossFit, blog about nutrition and fitness, and experiment in the kitchen.

Follow Rachel on Instagram, where she shares truly inspiring and empowering messages, mouthwatering recipes, gorgeous food photos, and simple at-home workout videos.

Or follow her on Facebook and join her in one of her Five Days to Fit challenges!
