About Rachel Benight

Rachel Benight, RD, in her kitchen.

Rachel Benight MS, RD, CPT is our nutritional advisor. She reviews all the recipes on this website.

Rachel is a Registered Dietitian licensed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an NASM-Certified Personal Trainer. She received her Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Central Oklahoma.

As an RD and a CPT, Rachel assesses the dietary needs of her clients, develops individualized meal and exercise plans for them, monitors the effects of these plans, and keeps herself updated with the latest research in nutritional science.

Before starting her own business, Rachel worked as a Registered Dietitian at Nutrition Specialists of Northeastern Oklahoma and at Nutrition Resources PLC in Owasso, Oklahoma. She now owns her own nutrition business, Nourished by Rachel, where her goal is to help clients develop a good relationship with food, fitness, and their bodies.

Rachel says, "I believe that there is never a “one size fits all” approach. I will design a program specifically with your goals in mind - no starvation diets required! As a Registered Dietitian and NASM-certified personal Trainer, I combine cutting-edge nutrition with exercise to provide you with the tools you need to achieve and maintain your goals."

Rachel lives with her husband and two children in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In her free time, she participates in CrossFit, blogs about nutrition and fitness, and experiments in the kitchen.

Follow Rachel on Instagram, where she shares inspiring and empowering messages, mouthwatering recipes, gorgeous food photos, and simple at-home workout videos.
