Ingredients

Brussels sprouts,
halved

tablespoons
avocado oil
2
tablespoons
low sodium soy sauce
(or use a gluten-free alternative and add salt as needed)

tablespoon
honey*
1
teaspoon
minced fresh garlic
½
teaspoon
crushed red peppers

teaspoon
sesame seeds
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Place the Brussels sprouts in the pan. Toss with the oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic and crushed red peppers, using a large spoon or your hands.
Arrange the seasoned Brussels sprouts, cut side down, in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Roast until browned and caramelized, about 30 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.

*If you don't mind a few more carbs, this dish is even better with a full tablespoon of honey (15 grams carbs, 4 grams fiber per serving).
