Stuffed Dates

A wonderful appetizer, these goat cheese stuffed dates are drizzled with honey and topped with walnuts. Savory, sweet and crunchy in one bite!

Ingredients

  • 24 small pitted dates
  • 4 oz soft goat cheese
  • 24 walnut halves
  • 4 teaspoons honey

Instructions

  • Make a lengthwise slit in each date.
  • Soften the goat cheese for just a few seconds in the microwave. Use a small teaspoon to stuff each date with a little cheese.
  • Place a walnut half on top, and lightly press to make sure it adheres to the cheese.
  • If serving immediately, drizzle with honey and serve. 
  • If making ahead, refrigerate the dates until ready to serve. Remove from the fridge 30 minutes before serving to allow the cheese to soften. Drizzle with honey and serve.
