It's not always easy to come up with healthy Christmas recipes. So many Christmas recipes are unhealthy.
Of course, it's fine to decide that one day a year you are going to indulge. As long as it's one day and not a slippery sloe that leads to days, weeks or even months.
Some of us cannot "cheat" even on this special day, because the price we will pay in terms of our health is just not worth it.
If you have blood sugar issues, for example, and especially if you have full blown diabetes, do you really want your blood sugar to soar for several hours, maybe even several days?
