How to use recipe collections
This page allows you to save any of the recipes on this website into your own recipe collections and then generate a shopping list for them.
These collections are automatically saved in the browser for later reuse. You can create as many collections as you want.
Simply click on "Add Collection" above to get started. Once you name a collection (i.e. "John's birthday dinner"), you can click on the collection's name and add recipes to that collection.
This can be a great meal planning tool. You can create a collection for the holidays, for a category (bread, chicken, vegetables, etc.), for one meal (i.e., a main course and a side or two), or even for a whole week, then generate a shopping list for that collection.
The recipes you've marked as favorites while browsing the website are initially stored under the label "Inbox" or "My favorite recipes." Click on that label to view them.
Once you've created a new collection, press on "Add item" to start adding recipes to that collection. You can add recipes from the inbox "My favorite recipes." Or you can press "Add from collection" and either add a recipe from another collection, use the search function to search for a recipe on this website, or even add a custom recipe.
If you'd like to generate a shopping list for a single recipe, the easiest way to do that is to create a new collection with just that recipe.
To easily access this page in the future, I recommend you bookmark it in your browser.
Please be aware that if you clear your browser's cache, the collections you have saved will be gone.
