Over the past few years, I've been working hard on perfecting a large collection of healthy Thanksgiving recipes.
Why do I insist on healthy Thanksgiving recipes? Why not simply declare this one meal as a "cheat meal" and enjoy it?
I have two answers to this completely valid quesiton:
1. I believe that while turning the Thanksgiving meal into a "cheat meal" is a valid option for some, it could easily turn disastrous for most. For many of us, a single cheat meal will affect blood sugar for several days. It will harm our health, and cause cravings.
For many, a single high-carb meal could easily spiral into a month or more of out of control eating.
2. I guarantee that you will enjoy these healthy Thanksgiving recipes. There's no need to suffer for health. Healthy food can and should be delicious and satisfying.
