George Foreman Grill Recipes

I love my George Foreman grill and use it all the time, for grilling chicken and meat, vegetables, and for making paninis and quesadillas. As for cleaning it (a common complaint), simply unplug, and place damp paper towels on the grill surface. Close the lid, and your grill will be steam-cleaned, making cleaning a snap.

grilled quesadillas

Whole-wheat tortillas are filled with lots of delicious fillings, then crisped with a little olive oil and given pretty grill marks. The ham is warm, the cheese melty, the bell peppers are nicely roasted, and the hot salsa adds a burst of flavor. These whole-wheat grilled quesadillas are a fiesta for the eyes and for the taste buds!

grilled chicken tenders

These grilled chicken tenders are delicious and very easy to make. The sweet-spicy combination is wonderful. Marinade for an hour in the fridge if you can, but you don’t have to – I simply brushed the marinade over the chicken pieces and grilled. They came out juicy and very flavorful.

grilled chicken breast

I make this grilled chicken breast in my George Foreman grill. I realize the George Foreman gets mixed reviews, but I love it. It makes grilling easy, it really does not require added fat when grilling most foods, and cleanup is easy – just follow this tip, which I found online a while ago: after grilling, unplug the grill. Place moist paper towels on the unplugged grill and close it. This step will steam-clean your grill, making cleaning super easy – just wipe with more damp paper towels.

bison burger

Bison (buffalo) is naturally lean, high in iron, and generally not subject to the poor treatment cows receive in the mainstream, non-organic meat industry. The only caveat when cooking bison: cook it for a shorter time than you would cook beef. Lacking fat, it dries out easily.

I love hash browns, but not the relatively large amounts of fat needed to fry them. These grilled hash browns are made in a George Foreman grill and require very little fat.
