A great use for leftover cooked kasha.

Makes 4 large patties

1 cup cooked kasha
2 tablespoons quick oats
2 large eggs
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil for frying

Mix everything except the oil together. Heat the oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Spoon 2 tablespoons mixture per patty into skillet. Fry 4 minutes on each side, until golden-brown.
